Owners: Josef and Johann Rösler.

Production: carding machines and the first pusher filling machines.

Aquisition of the premises in Turbinenstrasse 10, con­struction of the first factory hall.

Erection of the second hall, now serving as exhibition hall.

First foam mattress filling machine with belts: “FS”.

First filling machine for spring and foam mattresses with belt mechanism:

IROMATIC.

First glue assembly line for hot-melt glue LAM.

 

1987

Josef Rösler retires. SPÜHL AG, St Gallen, aquires the factory and continues operation as Spühl(Deutschland) GmbH.

1988

Construction of the new factory hall. First half automatic assembly line for spring mattresses.

1990

First production line with a PC as central control unit.

1991

Felt cutting device PTS, filling machine with robotized mattress buffer line with a production of 1300 mattresses per shift.

1992

First fully automatical spring mattress assembly line of the world(Flexlinea, Italy).

1994

Foundation of FillMatic Polsterindustriemaschinen GmbH by parts of the staff of SPÜHL(Deutschland) GmbH, aquisition of all assets and stocks.

First computer controlled filling machine FILLTRONIC.

1995

Commissioning and start of operation of second fully automatic assembly line(ACE BED, Korea).

New glue application machine BRE, mattress stackers MSE and MSR.

1997

INTERZUM: presentation of roll packing machine RollPack 160/30 and latex filling machine FL.

 

1998

Patent RollPack is registered (Great Britain, Italy). RollPack 60 for quilts and duvets. Vertical mattress buffer Paternoster. FillMatic goes internet:

Patent RollPack registered in USA. RollPack 200/40 for Latex mattresses. RollPack 160/20 for thin mattress tops. Mattress testing device MPG 100. In house show and INTERZUM. Rental of additional 500m² factory hall.

On line testing station for latex mattresses.
